Artist's Story
“I’ve been drawing since I could hold a pencil. Now I'm lucky enough to have my art mirror my life. I create art that reflects my love of nature, the ocean, and our shared connection.”
Emily Wright (AHKI ILLUSTRATION) is an artist based on the Surf Coast of Victoria who works primarily in graphite pencil and lino block printing. Predominantly Emily’s pieces centre around the natural world, and all of its living inhabitants; a direct reflection of Emily’s own love of nature and our connection to it.
Emily is the single founder and artist behind the brand. She has been an artist her entire life and after studying a Bachelor of Illustration has slowly built up her brand alongside her life experiences in the years that followed.
Emily surrounds herself with other artists, musicians, nature lovers and creatives to keep herself inspired and constantly motivated. She absolutely loves interacting with the community through her art markets and workshops, and out in the surf.
If she is not creating art, she spends every spare moment she can in the waves.
